Joe is finishing taking up his vacation time this week, after being out of town all last week. It was really hard to “single parent” all week, but I got some great help. Joe’s parents had Ryan over one day, and then on Wednesday, after our art session, where they were watching Cole, Ryan wanted to stay over with them, so he spent the rest of the day with his grandparents.
My dad also was able to stop by for a few short visits-long enough for me to take a shower, so that helped too. Before having children, (and even with just one), I used to think I could do it all. Now I am so grateful for these “mini breaks,” I honestly don’t know what I would do with out them, so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Grandparents!
