The most common is postpartum thyroiditis [inflammation] that sometimes can be asymptomatic. As a result the ultrasound of thyroid can show heterogeneous echotexture. By doing AACE recommended thyroid neck check you can check if you have any large nodules in your thyroid. 
At least on your pictures I can’t see any thyroid abnormalities:)

		<description>When Tim was a kid his dad&#039;s company made the food for Casa Bonita :P

I meant to say awhile ago that my cousin has had an enlarged thyroid for years and they&#039;ve never done anything about it.  The thought is that even if it is cancer, it&#039;s  a very slow-growing kind.  Come to think of it, I think my FIL had thyroid cancer. Hmmmmm...

Yeah - I had more to say, but it&#039;s gone now :p</description>
