I have had two c-sections ( one in 1997 and the other in 2002). I did not have any complications after my first c-section but after my second, I'm still in pain. I have terrible gas that will not pass and it causes much discomfort. I even went to a GI Specialist and he just stated that I had some blockage that was the result of some foods that I eat. The thing is, I have this build up if I eat nothing. I don't know what to do . I cannot believe that I have to live the rest of my life in discomfort and pain.

I, too would have loved to have seen your call out on Twitter. I have considered writing and even drafted a c-section post. Couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome both times (8 yrs ago & almost 4 yrs ago). I could say more, but I think I'll save it for my own post which you have inspired me to possibly finish.

Oh my heart aches for many of these women... especially Justine. It angers me, on her behalf, that a man would be so cruel for no good reason. I wish (as I'd imagine she might) that she'd changed OBs... it IS important that they like you! If they don't, they won't believe in you. If they don't believe in you, they help the situation become what they believe it would be! :( Actually, that's why I had my first baby in hospital... hubbies feelings/beliefs about my ability to deliver my baby naturally at home. I proved it to him and we'll have homebirths unless Father shows me that we shouldn't!
