Just wanted to write and say hang in there, it does get better. Let me share with you that I had Thyroid cancer surgery back it the dark ages of 1975, I was 25 years old.
The first couple of weeks were tough because of them trying to manage my thyroid levels, as well as calcium.
It was all an interesting experience. Ask your doctor to consider prescribing desiccated thyroid instead of synthroid. It comes from animal thyroid and has T1, T2, T3 T4.
synthroid only has T1, T2, your body does convert those to T3, T4, but for me I feel better on natural thyroid over synthroid. Not trying to play doctor, but I do share that with others I have met that have had the same surgery. And there are lots of them. Good luck keep your head up and believe that you'll be fine--- and you will be.

So nice to see an update from you! You've been in my thoughts and will continue to be as you recover. I know you probably don't feel it, but you look great in this pic! And your scar looks to healing nicely.
