Your blog and story have been very helpful. I have Medullary thyroid cancer and although different in some ways it is the same in many others. I can echo many of your thoughts and feelings. I am having surgery on Dec.4th to remove the other side of my thyroid and have central neck dissection.We don’t know about any lymph node spread yet US did’nt show any enlarged nodes but endo said we would’nt know for sure “until we’re on the other side”.And so it goes life goes on! I am lucky as my surgey will be easier than what you had to contend with! Blessings sweetie!
