For those concerned about squaline, please read the following: http://childrenshospitalblog.org/thimerosal-squalene-and-guillain-barre-expert-answers-to-your-seasonal-and-h1n1-flu-questions/

There is a great deal of misinformation being fed to the masses. None of the H1N1 vaccines licensed for distribution in the U.S. contain squaline.

That said, I myself am skeptical about vaccinating our son with the inactivated shot based on having to have thimerisol given three times. I'm pretty sure his seasonal shot had it (because we didn't know then to ask for the "preservative-free" variant) and the health department in our area says they will not be getting the preservative-free H1N1 shots.

Not sure what to do.

Great article. Well done!

Something to consider besides the amount of thimerisol is the ingredient Squalene. Squalene is the chemical that was in shots given to Gulf War Soldiers that lead to Gulf War Syndrome. There is ten times the amount of Squalene in an H1N1 shot than there was in those shots!

I agree that we just don't allow our bodies a chance to do what they were built to do. Fight off infection. I recently had H1N1 complicated by asthma. While I did have to use an inhaler and take some prednisone, I did not take and will not take the H1N1 shot. To me, the risks are clearly there. This shot was fast tracked and the H1N1, I believe, has been played up to be more than it is.

There are some great articles out there to read.

And for any you mom's with daughters or if you're considering it yourself - another vaccnine touted as the be all end all of safety is Gardasil. To find out the truth, or to begin to, just go to youtube and type in Gardasil Injuries. What you find is jaw dropping.

Good health to all!

Thanks for this great article. Agree with this I think it’s funny that the posted “side effects” are the same as the flu. Well, of course. You are injecting the strain in to your system to grant you “immunity” from the flu you are trying to prevent. You will see flu like symptoms because you will have a mild case of this flu. If you work to build your immune system then you may come in to contact with H1N1 but your body will be able to handle it because it has enough “soldiers” (as my boys and I call them) to fight them. It’s when your “army” is depleted that it becomes a problem.

H,
There is a great article on Mothering.com from a Harvard Professor stating how H1N1 is not as severe as once suspected. I would post it here but it's really late and I need to get to bed. It's easy to find for anyone who wants to look it up though.

I wish that the media and health care providers would focus more on building up your defenses rather than how you will counter attack. If we did that then the severity of the dis-ease would be lessened.

Think about it, if the same amount of $ that is dumped in to vaxes would be poured in to research on how we can build our immunity, we would be better off in many ways.
